Computed Tomography Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of routine and special computed tomography (CT) procedures to ensure accurate and high-quality images for our patients.

• Perform CT scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients.
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety.
• Assist physicians during procedures and provide accurate explanations and instructions to patients and family members.
• Maintain proper sterile techniques and follow radiation safety standards to protect patients, staff, and the general public.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient department operations.

• Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s) indicated below in the Certifications, Licenses and Registrations section.
• Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography (R) or Computed Tomography (CT) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
