Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Substance Abuse Case Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Behavioral Health and Support Services unit, you will work closely with individuals living in Los Angeles County to provide direct program implementation activities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in substance use counseling, with a focus on addiction and recovery. You will be responsible for conducting individual and group level counseling sessions, providing targeted case management, and tracking participant progress.

This role requires a CADC or CADC-CAS related licensure, 2+ years of experience in substance use counseling, and a high school diploma or GED equivalent.


Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group level rehabilitation counseling sessions.
  • Conduct client intake screenings and assessment plans.
  • Develop and implement outreach, recruitment, and linkage referrals to community-wide stakeholders.
  • Provide case management services for clients, including referrals to food assistance, childcare, transportation, housing; care coordination; employment development; skills building.
  • Attend and actively participate in unit, case conference, internal staff in-service, community, and other relevant agency events.

Requirements
  • CADC or CADC-CAS related licensure required.
  • 2+ years of experience in substance use counseling.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus.
