As a PGY 1 Resident, you will be part of our comprehensive graduate medical education program, designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the field of internal medicine.
Responsibilities- Develop a personalized learning plan with guidance from our experienced faculty.
- Participate in patient care under supervision, honing your clinical skills and decision-making abilities.
- Engage in educational and scholarly activities, including teaching and supervising other residents and students.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our residency program.
- Graduation from a medical school in the United States or Canada accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME).
- Graduation from a college of osteopathic medicine in the United States accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
- Graduation from a medical school outside the United States or Canada who hold, or will hold prior to appointment, a valid certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).
