Pipefitting Specialist

Green Mechanical Construction, a leading design-build mechanical contractor and engineering firm in the southeast US region, is seeking a highly skilled Pipefitting Specialist to join their team.

• Conduct site surveys with the superintendent to assess project conditions.
• Accurately complete takeoffs for projects within tight deadlines.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site functions, including scheduling, material control, and rentals.
• Ensure all site personnel comply with project procedures, safety requirements, company policies, and other relevant standards.
• Prepare and submit daily reports, including safety reports, preconstruction reports, weekly production reports, and any project-specific reports.
• Conduct inspections on jobs, ensuring they meet MAAMECH standards, and participate in start-ups as needed, coordinating with contractors, engineers, subcontractors, and owners.
• Evaluate piping service execution for compliance with contract requirements, design data, schedule, cost budgets, and quality, advising the project team of status, issues, impacts, risk, and cost influence factors.
• Take ownership of the piping craft schedule and develop short-term look-ahead schedules for the crew in alignment with the execution plan.
• Monitor labor costs during the installation process.

• At least 5 years of experience in the piping field.
• Ability to read blueprints and prepare materials lists.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivation and punctuality are essential.
• Multitasking and follow-up skills, both internally and externally, are crucial.
• Professional appearance and speech are mandatory.

• Base Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
