Job SummaryBonnell Aluminum is seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT professional to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and services to our end-users.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver top-notch technical support and services to end-users via various channels, including in-person, remote connections, and phone calls.
- Interact with end-users to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about hardware and software.
- Install and configure servers and network equipment to ensure seamless operations.
- Analyze and diagnose technical issues involving internet connectivity, email clients, application issues, password resets, and more.
- Research required information using available resources to resolve technical issues.
- Identify and escalate priority issues for end-users.
- Work independently and be a self-starter to achieve goals and objectives.
- Accurately process and record transactions using tracking software.
- Follow up and make scheduled callbacks to customers, as necessary.
- Stay current with system information, changes, and updates.
- Manage vendor relationships, including hardware, software, and support.
- Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in information system design, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and documentation.
- Strong knowledge of current IT concepts, issues, practices, methodologies, and trends.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills; ability to understand and analyze complex issues.
- Passion for technology and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities efficiently.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and peers.
- Great communication skills, ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Microsoft SQL server administration experience.
- AS400 knowledge.
- 5250 emulation knowledge.
- Familiarity with router and switch configuration, operation, and maintenance, routing protocols, TCP/IP, network management, network analysis, and network security.
- Hosted desktop experience.
