As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for our residents, promoting their emotional and physical well-being, and helping them develop essential life skills.

Key Responsibilities

">

Your duties will include:

  • ">
  • Developing and maintaining a secure and supportive living environment for our residents;">
  • Implementing and integrating individualized treatment plans into daily activities;">
  • Providing guidance, mentorship, and role-modeling to promote positive behavior and self-control;">
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of resident progress and experiences;">
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for our residents;">
  • Participating in regular supervision and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge;">
  • Assisting with household chores, meal preparation, and other tasks as needed;">
  • Supporting residents in their educational, recreational, and extracurricular activities;">
  • Transporting residents to appointments, outings, and community-based activities;">
  • Providing crisis intervention and emergency response when necessary;">
  • Engaging in regular communication with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless support for our residents;">
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, respect, and open communication;">
  • Staying up-to-date with best practices, policies, and procedures related to youth services and caregiving.">

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

">
  • ">
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Behavioral Science, Child Development, Psychology) or equivalent experience;">
  • At least 1 year of experience working with vulnerable youth, preferably in a residential treatment setting;">
  • A valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation;">
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills;">
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings;">
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion;">
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development;">
  • A passion for supporting the well-being and success of youth and families.">
