We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our cardiovascular program.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor procedures, including diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, to ensure safe patient care.
- Work as a scrub assistant during procedures, providing support to the medical team.
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure accurate and efficient patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy.
- Either a FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification, a FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification, or a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification.
- Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Preferred).
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
