Mechanic for Heavy Equipment and Trucks

Your primary responsibilities will include diagnosing and repairing operational difficulties with heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment, as well as maintaining and repairing heavy diesel, CNG, gas, and electrically operated equipment and vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on Company owned or leased heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems
- Analyze technical data, such as diagrams and manuals, to determine the cause of malfunctions and implement effective solutions
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless operation of the maintenance team
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through continuous learning and professional development

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a relevant field an asset
- Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy duty diesel truck and equipment maintenance
- Valid driver's license
- Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug test
