Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Precision Inspector to join our team at FM Industries. As a key member of our quality control department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of precision and accuracy in our products.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Inspecting machined parts and incoming materials to verify compliance with specifications
  • Using calibrated measuring equipment and visual inspection to ensure conformance requirements
  • Interpreting customer drawings and specifications, as well as company work instructions and process travelers


Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
  • A thorough knowledge of GD&T and CMM operation
  • Experience with basic measuring tools, including weight gauges, micrometers, calipers, and thread gauges
  • Visual cosmetic inspection experience
  • A strong understanding of blueprint reading and shop math (trigonometry)
