**About the Role**
Barnard College is seeking a Staff Physician to join our Primary Care Health Service. This is a full-time position that requires delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to students in a clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain comprehensive health histories and perform physical exams to identify acute and chronic health problems.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, make diagnoses, and develop treatment plans in accordance with evidence-based guidelines.
- Provide individualized health education and promote healthy behaviors to students.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Develop educational presentations for clinical staff and contribute to departmental and patient education literature.
**Requirements & Qualifications:**
* Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
* Current licensure as a Medical Doctor (MD) in New York State
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
**Salary Range:** $180,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience.
