Harvester Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Harvester Specialist to join our team at Stand-By Personnel. As a key member of our agricultural operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe harvesting of crops.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily cleaning and maintenance of growing rooms, floors, and equipment to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
• Wrap, label, and move pallets with precision and accuracy.
• Scan labels using a handheld scanner to ensure accurate tracking and inventory management.
• Stack cartons on pallets and wrap products to ensure secure transportation.
• Operate a pallet jack to move pallets safely and efficiently.
• Perform general housekeeping duties, including moving bins and trays with a forklift.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for safe machine and tool use, Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) for food processing.
• Accurately complete daily logs and reports according to SOPs.

• Ability to work independently and productively with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and move heavy objects.
