Job Description: CT Technologist RoleAs a CT technologist at Cross Country Allied, you will play a vital role in utilizing computerized tomography to capture high-quality medical images of patients for diagnostic purposes. Working in a hospital, outpatient center, private practice, imaging center, or other healthcare facility, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Preparing patients for CT scans, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process
- Operating CT equipment, adhering to strict quality control measures to produce accurate images
- Processing images for radiologists and physicians, facilitating timely diagnoses and treatments
- Maintaining patient records, adhering to confidentiality and data protection protocols
To excel in this position, applicants must possess:
- A minimum of 1-2 years of post-clinical work experience as a CT technologist
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification from the American Heart Association
- Current state license (if applicable)
