Broadcast Engineer

Family Broadcasting Corporation is seeking a skilled Broadcast Engineer to join our team in the installation, repair, and maintenance of electronic equipment related to television and radio broadcast operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, operate, and maintain technical equipment for the operation of television and radio stations.
• Troubleshoot and make corrective repairs to equipment as needed.
• Maintain transmitters and ensure they are functioning within specified parameters.
• Log and maintain equipment repair and inventory records.
• Train and assist operators in the use of equipment.

Requirements:

• 2 years of college, military, or technical school education.
• 2 years of working knowledge of broadcast station operation.
• 2 years of broadcast maintenance or military electronics repair experience.
• Basic networking concepts and proficiency in PC and IT systems.
• Familiarity with Zixi as a streaming platform and Comark TV transmitters.
• Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new technologies.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment:

The physical demands of this position include standing, walking, sitting, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 75 pounds. The work environment is typically moderate noise level.
