Walmart Refrigeration/HVAC Technician

Role Overview:

As a Refrigeration/HVAC Technician at Walmart, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the company's facilities' HVAC/R equipment and assets. This role requires utilizing commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, as well as hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs. You will operate under the supervision of the local Refrigeration and HVAC Manager, adhering to established maintenance schedules and guidelines. Your tasks will include conducting inspections, cleaning, and repairing facilities, equipment, or fixtures.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities' HVAC/R equipment and assets.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders to support Stores and Store associates and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspecting, operating, or testing facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely.

• Vocational or Technical HVAC/R certification and 2 years experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls.
• Or 4 years experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls or related field.
• Type I/Type II Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for Refrigerant handling.
