Network Security Engineer

CDW is seeking a seasoned Network Security Engineer to join our team in Reno, NV.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure network infrastructures, including routing, switching, telephony, and video systems.
  • Configure and manage Cisco routers and switches, as well as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and Syslog.
  • Develop and maintain VPNs, BGP, MPLS, and QoS configurations.
  • Provide expert-level support for Windows Server and Active Directory.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in network security.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in network administration and security protocols.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing network infrastructures.
  • Proficiency in Cisco routing and switching, as well as firewall and IDS/IPS configurations.
  • Experience with VPNs, BGP, MPLS, and QoS.
  • Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
  • Experience with wireless networks and security.
