We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Urologist to join our medical team in Lagos, Nigeria. The ideal candidate should be board-certified and possess advanced surgical skills in Urology.

The successful candidate will have expertise in procedures such as TURP, HoLEP, PCNL, Laparoscopic Radical Prostatectomy, RIRS, Kidney Transplant, and Laparoscopic Donor Nephrectomy.

This role involves full-time employment with on-call responsibilities for emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of urological surgeries, including TURP, HoLEP, PCNL, Laparoscopic Radical Prostatectomy, RIRS, Kidney Transplant, and Laparoscopic Donor Nephrectomy.
• Ensure high-quality patient care and outcomes in all urological procedures.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in on-call duties for emergency cases, ensuring prompt and effective response to urological emergencies.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior medical staff and residents, contributing to the development of a strong urology team.
• Stay current with advancements in urological procedures and technologies to continuously improve surgical skills and patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Board Certification: Equivalent to FRCS, FWACS with a minimum of 5 years post-MBBS training in surgery/Urology.
• Specialization: Must be qualified for registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria as a specialist urologist with extra qualifications.
• Surgical Expertise: Proficient in TURP, HoLEP, PCNL, Laparoscopic Radical Prostatectomy, RIRS, Kidney Transplant, and Laparoscopic Donor Nephrectomy.
