The Developmental Specialist Residential is a vital member of our team at Monarch, responsible for supporting individuals with their personal dreams and goals. This role requires a unique blend of empathy, creativity, and problem-solving skills to ensure our clients receive the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess each individual's hopes, dreams, and desires, and provide tailored support to facilitate achievement.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and community members.
  • Ensure the rights and dignity of each individual are respected and promoted at all times.
  • Provide emotional, physical, and medical support as needed, while promoting self-determination and independence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement person-centered plans, ensuring seamless support and care.
  • Document all interactions, progress, and outcomes accurately and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma (Required)
  • Valid Driver's License (USA)
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (Preferred)
