About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team at a reputable hospital in North Platte, NE. As a member of our medical staff, you will provide inpatient and outpatient surgery services for patients through the hospital, its surgery center, and its outreach clinics, specializing in Joint Reconstruction and general orthopedic procedures.
Responsibilities
- Examine and diagnose patients to develop an appropriate plan of care and treatment protocol
- Evaluate risks and select appropriate surgical procedure for musculoskeletal conditions and injuries
- Provide consultation to hospital medical staff and make recommendations to optimize patient care and outcome
- Participate in hospital programs and committees and perform medical audits as required
- Provide general medical supervision and direction of general surgery services
Requirements
- Medical Doctorate degree or ECFMG equivalent
- Completion of medical residency training in Orthopedic Surgery, fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma, and fellowship training in Hip and Knee Replacement
- Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery and current Nebraska medical license
What We Offer
