Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Garland, Texas.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mammography Technologist to operate x-ray equipment and perform diagnostic procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mammography and be able to maintain a high level of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality mammography images
  • Perform a variety of diagnostic procedures, including ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements:
  • Graduation from a formal radiologic technology training program and current certification by ARRT in Radiography
  • ARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience, or MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligible
  • 1 year of experience in mammography, with 2 years preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and read, write, and comprehend medical terminology
