Asphalt Paver Specialist

Job Summary:

As an Asphalt Paver Operator at CRH, you will be responsible for operating a paving machine to apply asphalt to highways and related surfaces. Your duties will include oiling, greasing, and servicing the equipment, as well as making normal operating adjustments to ensure optimal performance. You will also be responsible for manipulating hand or foot levers to control the movements of the machine and spread and level the asphalt on the subgrade. This is a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate paving machine to apply asphalt to highways and related surfaces
Oil, grease, and service equipment as needed
Make normal operating adjustments to ensure optimal performance
Manipulate hand or foot levers to control movements of machine and spread and level asphalt on subgrade

Requirements:

Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
High school diploma or equivalent required
