Position Overview:
Nemaha County Hospital is seeking a dedicated Clinical Laboratory Specialist to join our esteemed Laboratory Team.

Job Responsibilities:
The Clinical Laboratory Specialist will be responsible for working the overnight shift from 10 pm to 6:30 am. Key responsibilities include:
  • Conducting a variety of clinical laboratory assessments for the identification and management of health conditions.
  • Performing general phlebotomy and arterial blood specimen collection.
  • Executing test procedures and ensuring quality control across various laboratory disciplines including Chemistry, Immunology, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Blood Banking.
Compliance with the NCH Compliance Program is essential, along with performing routine instrument maintenance and being available for extended on-call hours. This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week.

Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology or a related discipline.

Current certification from AMT or ASCP is required.
