Job Description

At Children's Workshop, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Montessori Educator to join our team. As a Toddler Teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering a love of learning in our youngest students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain a nurturing and engaging classroom environment that promotes independence, curiosity, and social skills.
  • Prepare and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students, ensuring a well-rounded and stimulating educational experience.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Guide to develop and implement behavior management strategies, promoting positive relationships and a respectful classroom culture.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues, maintaining open and transparent lines of communication.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education and Montessori methodology.
Requirements
  • Teacher qualified per Minnesota DHS
  • Classroom management skills
  • Experience in childcare or preschool settings
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with students and parents
  • Ability to create and implement lesson plans
  • Familiarity with early childhood education principles
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques
  • Understanding of childhood development and literacy education
