The Maintenance Mechanic position at CareWell Health is responsible for performing a wide range of duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine preventive maintenance and scheduled tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Conduct hourly or as-needed rounds and readings of plant equipment, recording all logs and data.
- Respond promptly to calls or work orders related to plant operations, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Document equipment status or problems immediately, reporting to the Supervisor as necessary.
- Monitor and record oil delivery, maintaining accurate readings and logs.
- Make adjustments and repairs to equipment as needed to ensure safe operation.
- Check and maintain boiler water treatment, conducting daily tests to meet set standards.
- Operate one or more boilers, supplying steam, hot water, and air conditioning to the entire facility.
- Check and test water treatment, setting chemical test standards and ensuring compliance.
- Perform blowdown of boilers and columns according to established standards.
- Check and test water safety alarm, meeting State requirements.
- Record and document gauge readings hourly as necessary.
- Maintain and monitor Emergency Contractor readings.

Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent.
- HVAC certification required.
- One year of experience in a hospital setting.
