Job Summary

The CT Technologist performs all C.T. exams following department protocols under the direction of the Radiologist. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to speak, read, and write English, and 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist or 1 year in CT Scan preferred. The ideal candidate will have a current N.Y.S. License in Radiologic Technologist, A.R.R.T Certification in CT Scan, and current certification with injection from the N.Y.S. Dept. of Health.

Responsibilities
  • Perform all C.T. exams following department protocols
  • Work under the direction of the Radiologist
  • Develop and maintain strong interpersonal skills
  • Speak, read, and write English
  • Meet the requirements for 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist or 1 year in CT Scan preferred
Requirements
  • Current N.Y.S. License in Radiologic Technologist
  • A.R.R.T Certification in CT Scan
  • Current certification with injection from the N.Y.S. Dept. of Health
Working Conditions

This role requires standing for sustained periods of time, pushing, pulling, and heavy work. The ideal candidate will be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
