About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nursing Supervisor to join our team at Inova. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced LPN to lead clinical operations, direct patient care, and patient education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and assist team members in assigned functional areas, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient workflows.
  • Oversee clinical operations, including direct patient care and patient education, to ensure seamless transitions throughout the healthcare continuum.
  • Responsible for the administration and application of all clinical nursing functions, procedures, and protocols.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care progression and facilitate effective communication.
  • Manage patient care effectively and timely by maintaining active communication with primary care team members.
  • Utilize evidence-based standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures to deliver high-quality care.
  • Participate in clinical performance improvement activities to enhance operational efficiency and quality outcomes.
Requirements
  • 1 year of nursing or related healthcare experience required.
  • Graduate of an accredited LPN school required.
  • BLS Certification (from the American Heart Association) required.
  • Licensure: Eligible for licensing in the commonwealth of Virginia as a LPN.
  • Proficient in English, verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills required.
