About the Job

GLOVIS America, Inc. is seeking a skilled Automotive Painter to join our team in Shreveport, LA. As a key member of our body shop team, you will be responsible for performing minor bodywork, priming, and painting vehicles to factory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Painting: Inspect body work prior to painting, apply masking tape, and ensure vehicle damage is addressed.
  • Tool and Material Maintenance: Clean spraying equipment, apply two-component finishing filler, and dispose of paint and materials.
  • Quality Control: Ensure body work and prep work meet standards to prevent rework after paint application.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma/G.E.D, 2 years of experience in painting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to read and write, follow verbal and written instructions, and drive both automatic and straight shift vehicles.
Working Conditions

This position works in a plant manufacturing/warehouse setting, exposing you to loud noises, indoor and outdoor weather conditions, and chemicals/fumes.
