Position Summary:
The Engineering Administration Supervisor is pivotal in enhancing the efficiency, profitability, and precision of all maintenance and engineering teams. This role encompasses overseeing administrative functions and ensuring the accuracy of financial records within the engineering department. Responsibilities include managing work order systems, financial tracking, and assisting in achieving departmental revenue goals.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including Chief Engineers and property managers.
- Serve as the primary administrator for engineering programs, ensuring compliance with training requirements.
- Generate reports on productivity, technician hours, and financial performance.
- Maintain financial oversight through budget tracking and forecasting.
- Assist in procurement processes and vendor communications.
- Ensure accurate processing of invoices and financial reporting.
- Participate in the budgeting process and assist in financial planning.
- Support team building and employee relations initiatives.
- Oversee compliance with safety regulations and training requirements.
- Provide administrative support during periods of absence for engineering managers.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Detail-oriented with the capacity to perform under pressure.
- Approachable and friendly demeanor.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $55,000 - $59,000, reflecting the competitive nature of the industry.
