Civil Engineer

Compensation: Pay Group 12 for Dülmen

The City of Dülmen is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to fill the position of Head of Technical Operations for the Wastewater Treatment Plant.

This is a full-time, permanent role with 39 hours per week. The salary is based on Pay Group 12 of the Collective Agreement for the Public Service (TVöD).

The Wastewater Treatment Plant is a quasi-independent institution responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of the entire sewer network in Dülmen.

The plant serves a population of over 40,000 residents through a combined/separate system with a current length of 345 km, including pressure pipelines.

Property connections are part of the public wastewater system.

The plant features numerous special structures, including 44 rainwater basins, 40 medium and large pumping stations, and 205 small pumping stations.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Civil Engineer to lead our technical operations and ensure the efficient management of the wastewater treatment process.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
