Geriatric Psychiatrist

Stoughton Health is currently seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Geriatric Psychiatry team on a Per-Diem basis. As a key member of our team, this individual will be responsible for providing exceptional, personalized care to patients in our inpatient units.

• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized care plans for patients with complex psychiatric needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practices.
• Maintain knowledge and competency in current nursing practices, including crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and contribute to the growth of peers and colleagues.

• Associate's Degree in Nursing or equivalent experience.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at hire.
• Non-violent crisis intervention training every two years.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
