JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE: Chief Financial Officer

DEPARTMENT: Accounting

JOB SUMMARY
The Chief Financial Officer will manage and supervise the financial operations of the organization, oversee the development of comprehensive financial reports and analyses, and generate forecasts to anticipate future growth. The CFO will be responsible for all Accounting functions within ATG USA.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Oversees the preparation of all financial documents, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax filings, and reports for regulatory agencies.
  2. Analyzes sales and profit forecasts against actual results and budgeted expenses; implements necessary adjustments to future forecasts and budgets.
  3. Evaluates the planning process and recommends enhancements to existing methodologies.
  4. Examines operations to pinpoint areas requiring restructuring, downsizing, or discontinuation.
  5. Collaborates with the President and other executives to align planning efforts and set priorities for the organization.
  6. Researches long-term economic trends and assesses their potential impact on future sales growth and market share.
  7. Identifies potential avenues for expansion into new product lines.
  8. Manages the investment of funds and collaborates with investment bankers to secure additional capital for growth initiatives.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from an accredited university is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in senior financial management is required.
  • A Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance is preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant designation is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a proactive attitude that drives operational and financial success.
  • Outstanding communication, analytical, and organizational skills, along with a professional demeanor.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to work a minimum of a 40-hour workweek, with additional hours as necessary to meet deadlines. Must be capable of sitting or standing for extended periods; able to navigate to and from offices and travel as required. Must possess the ability to read, write, and converse in English; have visual acuity with or without corrective lenses; and have sufficient hearing ability with or without assistance to interact effectively with colleagues and clients. Must be able to think critically and lift and carry various office items weighing up to 30 pounds.

ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
The office environment includes a modular workspace equipped with adequate lighting, heating/cooling, and functional equipment and furniture. Must be able to work effectively and positively in a potentially stressful environment while maintaining confidentiality for both the company and its employees. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.
