  • Work on steering and suspension systems
  • Conduct wheel alignments

  • Diagnose and repair radiator and engine cooling systems
  • Work on batteries, starting, and charging systems
  • Repair car heating and air conditioning systems
  • Diagnose and repair check engine lights
  • Perform visual safety and courtesy inspections
  • Repair mufflers and exhaust systems when needed
  • Perform oil changes when needed
  • Repair tires and tire systems when needed
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, and engine diagnostics
  • Track record of high personal productivity
  • Knowledge of and adherence to safety and environmental standards for repair facilities
  • Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools
  • High School Diploma or equivalent - technical degree a definite plus
  • State-specific auto repair certifications
  • Valid driver's license
  • Able to service both foreign and domestic vehicles
