About the Role

The Fuel Superintendent is a key member of our construction team, responsible for overseeing the pre-construction process and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Develop a comprehensive schedule and cost-effective plan for project completion.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Project Manager to create pre-construction estimates and budgets for materials and labor.
  • Design and Layout: Create detailed drawings of pipe systems, supports, and related equipment.
  • Team Coordination: Schedule and coordinate the work activities of tradespeople, professionals, and laborers.
  • Quality Control: Regularly inspect work for quality and timeliness, and prepare progress reports for owners and engineers.
  • Permitting and Licensing: Obtain required permits and licenses, and execute construction contracts according to terms.
  • Budget Management: Monitor budget throughout the project and communicate any variances.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records related to job costs and inventory.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: 5+ years' experience in equipment operating, working with grades, and reading blueprints.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the fuel construction industry.
  • Supervisory Experience: Supervisory experience within the construction industry required.
  • Certifications: ICC Certification to handle, install, and test underground and above-ground piping preferred.
