Principal Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Technologist to join our team at Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA). As a Principal Technologist, you will be responsible for leading the development of advanced electronic warfare (EW) solutions and systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and grow the business areas of signal processing and radar design for EW.
- Build, train, motivate, and lead a high-performing team of scientists, engineers, and software developers to solve challenging customer problems in the EW domain.
- Participate and lead proposals, RFIs, RFPs, and aggressively lead the charge in business development.
- Develop and deploy a growth strategy in the areas of advanced system design, signal and/or data processing, and system integration for C5ISR and EW applications.
- Lead the charge to build and execute a 5-year plan resulting in a C5ISR/EW portfolio within ARA with a revenue goal of over 100M USD/year by FY29.
- A master's degree in Physics, Mathematics, and/or Engineering with a focus on signal processing, data processing, and/or information systems.
- A minimum of 10 years' combined experience in the development of technologies and solutions relevant to C5/C4ISR and EW applications.
- A minimum of 5 years of successful business development within the EW or related spaces.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in developing and executing business strategy for DoD and/or other Government customers.
- Demonstrable deep domain expertise in at least one of the following fields: Signal Processing, Image Processing, Radar System Design, and/or Integration.
- Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Experience with building solutions leveraging AI/ML technologies.
- Deep working knowledge of computational technologies and techniques, including but not limited to EW wargaming M&S, Computational Electromagnetics, CFD, Computational Mechanics, etc.
