Master Diesel Mechanic Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician Class B to join our team at Performance Foodservice. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of our fleet diesel equipment.
Job Responsibilities:- Perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers, ensuring they are in proper operating condition.
- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other critical components to identify potential issues.
- Diagnose and repair complex problems with diesel engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Train and guide junior mechanics to develop their skills and expertise.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair, including PMs, tire & wheel, air & disc brakes, diagnosis, computerized diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, electronic component repair, and refrigeration experience.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Competitive salary up to $30.00 per hour
- Sunday - Thursday schedule, 3:00pm -11:30pm
- $10,000 Sign On Bonus (terms apply)
