Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pouch Operator to join our team at ProAmpac, a leading global flexible packaging company. As a Pouch Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the pouching machinery is working properly and safely, maintaining an average efficiency of at least 90% on set-ups and production, and accurately completing all required paperwork, reports, and quality records associated with pouch operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set-up, run, change over, and clean-up of the pouch machine according to procedures, and within established production standards
  • Communicate with the oncoming shift all relevant information to ensure an efficient shift change
  • Track departmental supplies, and notify manufacturing supervisor when supplies are needed
  • Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work history
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must be able to read standard/metric measuring tape
  • Must be able to perform basic mathematic calculations of standard/metric measurements
