Job Title: Director, SEC & Financial Reporting

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, SEC & Financial Reporting to join our team at Stryker Corporation. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation of the Company's consolidated financial statements and SEC filings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of skilled accountants in preparing the Company's consolidated financial statements and SEC filings.
  • Prepare financial statements and disclosures for the Company's filings, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K.
  • Work closely with senior leaders through the external reporting process, partnering with Legal and Investor Relations as needed.
  • Primary owner of quarterly and ad hoc financial schedules and analysis for senior management and external auditors.
  • Support the Chief Accounting Officer with analysis, projects, and communication to Senior Leadership.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business with a concentration in Accounting.
  • Active CPA required.
  • 12+ years of experience, preferably with a Big 4 public accounting firm and a global Fortune 500 company.
  • Substantial experience in and working knowledge of SEC reporting and U.S. GAAP.
  • Experience with Workiva and/or Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) preferred.
