Patient Transporter

We are seeking a skilled Patient Transporter to join our team at Compass Group USA. As a Patient Transporter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of patients, medical equipment, and patient-related items to their destinations.
Key Responsibilities:- Properly and safely transport patients, securing IVs, drainage tubes, and other medical equipment as needed.
- Use wheelchairs and other approved rolling stock to transport patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Communicate effectively with nursing personnel, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient transportation.
- Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Comply with regulatory agency standards, including federal, state, and JCAHO requirements.
- Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely and efficiently.
