Job Overview

Position Summary

The Fabrication Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the operation of numerically controlled machinery to execute a series of intricate machining tasks on a diverse range of products, ensuring adherence to precise specifications. This role includes coordinating the activities and personnel involved in the fabrication process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide training and guidance to fabrication staff as necessary.
  • Under the supervision of the Production Superintendent, manage the movement of materials, oversee fabrication at designated workstations, and ensure proper packaging of finished products.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in fabrication is essential.
  • Strong teamwork and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and/or pallet jacks.
  • Ability to utilize measuring instruments effectively.
  • Familiarity with machining techniques and related practical experience.
  • Capable of clear and professional written and verbal communication.

Work Environment:

The role is set within a fabrication and warehouse environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent walking, standing, and climbing.
  • Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, and reach as needed.
  • Work may be conducted outdoors and indoors around machinery with moving components.
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions and potentially slippery or uneven surfaces.
  • Must be able to lift at least 60 pounds.
