- Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking dental X-rays.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, nutritional counseling, and disease prevention strategies.
- Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants as needed.
- Assist with dental charting, documentation, and maintaining accurate patient records.
- Collaborate with dentists and other dental team members to develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate patient care.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile working environment.
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
- CPR certification.
- Proficiency in taking dental X-rays and familiarity with dental software systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to providing compassionate care and promoting oral health equity.
