Job Description

Job Summary:

The Lead Engineer, Applications Development will be responsible for leading the development of new applications and improving existing ones. This role requires a strong technical background and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to development teams, ensuring that applications are developed using best practices and industry standards.
  • Application Development: Lead the development of new applications and improvements to existing ones, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Technical Architecture: Design and implement technical architectures for applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, including business analysts, project managers, and quality assurance engineers, to ensure that applications meet business requirements.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
  • Experience: Five (5) years of experience in software development, engineering, or related field, with a strong background in Java, Spring, Springboot, Hibernate/JPA, Web services REST/SOAP, JMS, MDB, CXF, SLF4J.
  • Skills: Experience in search platforms, relational and NoSQL databases, Web 2.0, HTML, CSS, LESS/SASS, JavaScript, JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React, and REST architecture.
