Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse Position in San Diego

About the Job: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated travel nurse RN to join our team at a prestigious pediatric intensive care unit in San Diego, California. As a PICU nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes for our young patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill children, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized plans of care.
- Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of our patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and communicate effectively with families and caregivers.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and respond to changes in patient condition promptly and appropriately.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure and active registration in the state of practice.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) nurse or equivalent experience in a critical care setting.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric critical care nursing principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
