Job Summary:

The Pediatric Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care of patients. This role utilizes the nursing process by leveraging technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice, and coordination of care with other health team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Implement and evaluate care plans, making adjustments as needed
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers

Requirements:

  • Current RN license in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Preferred Qualifications:

One or more years of RN work experience

Work Environment:

This role is based at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with variable shifts.
