Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate LPN to provide high-quality care to our residents. As a PRN LPN, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care, supervising nursing assistants, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing assistants to ensure a high level of quality care is maintained.
- Responsible for admission, transfer, and discharge of residents, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Keep physicians and other healthcare professionals informed of changes in resident conditions.
- Supervise nursing assistants and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Attend a minimum of 12 annual hours of in-service education to stay up-to-date on the latest nursing practices and technologies.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
- LPN license in Illinois.
- Recent clinical experience, education, and specialty skills specific to geriatrics.
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to maneuver or learn an EHR-EMR system.
Benefits:
- Competitive compensation, starting wage $34.00 per hour.
