Key Responsibilities

  1. Patient Care
  • Assist providers with patient exams, procedures, and treatments
  • Room patients, gather information, and prepare them for exams
  • Monitor and maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Administrative Support
  • Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate staff member
  • Manage patient schedules, appointments, and waitlists
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry and filing
Team Collaboration
  • Work collaboratively with providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive, supportive team environment

Requirements

  1. Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a medical assisting program or equivalent experience preferred
License/Certifications
  • AAMA, NHA, AMT, or NCCT certification preferred or achieved within 1 year of eligibility
  • BLS certification within 3 months of hire required
Experience
  • Relevant experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
