Job Summary

The CT Technologist, under the direction of the Radiologist and Radiology Director, performs all Radiology/CT procedures in accordance with ACR, ARRT, state regulations, and departmental policies. This role requires highly technical skills to operate sophisticated equipment for various examinations. The Technologist must exhibit expertise in patient care based on needs appropriate for all patient demographics.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Operate and maintain sophisticated imaging equipment.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and ensure patient comfort and safety.
  • Collaborate with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved and accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification.
  • Licensed as a radiologic technologist by the SCRQSA.
  • CPR certification required.
  • CT certification preferred (ARRT-CT).
