Job Overview

We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team at One Pointe Home Curators. This role is responsible for preparing and examining financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be based in New Seabury, working closely with our property management and construction design teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain primary financial data for accounting records, including invoices, receipts, and bank statements
  • Compute and record numerical data accurately, adhering to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Check the accuracy of business transactions, identifying any discrepancies or irregularities
  • Perform data entry and administrative duties, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
Requirements
  • Previous experience in accounting, finance, or a related field, preferably with knowledge of GAAP
  • Fundamental knowledge of accounting software and systems, with ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Deadline-oriented, with ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
