Job Summary

As an Industrial Manufacturing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving our manufacturing processes forward. You will be responsible for optimizing production efficiency, improving product quality, and reducing costs.

Key Responsibilities

Determining Manufacturing Requirements:

  • You will determine and establish overall manufacturing engineering requirements for items such as machinery, equipment, tooling, manufacturing methods, and processes.
  • You will also support shop floor personnel in trouble-shooting process and/or quality problems.

Preparing Production Documents:

  • You will prepare routings, process sheets, work instructions, and process drawings as required.
  • You will establish feeds, speeds, cycle times, and other operating parameters for all types of equipment.

Implementing Process Improvements:

  • You will recommend, justify, and implement the installation of new equipment and processes.
  • You will analyze, review, and optimize existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency using LEAN manufacturing techniques.

Maintaining Equipment and Facilities:

  • You will maintain production equipment.
  • You will perform facilities maintenance.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study (Mechanical/Mfg/Industrial Technology).
  • 3-5+ years industry-related experience with manufacturing technologies, processes, methods, machining, assembly, and company operations, product lines, and practices or equivalent.
  • Able to collaborate with coworkers, shop personnel, and outside vendors.
  • Experience with LEAN manufacturing techniques.
  • Strong analytical ability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • General experience working with SAP ERP Business System.
  • Experience with production equipment programming.
  • Knowledge of AutoCad.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows.
  • Knowledge of Pro E.
