Brewing Specialist Trainee

The Brewer Trainee is a key role within the Milos Tea CO team, responsible for brewing high-quality teas and beverages with strict adherence to our standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities- Pre-Shift Preparation: Complete the pre-shift brew set-up process, ensuring all machines are ready for operation.
- Quality Control: Immediately report any machine or product deficiencies to the appropriate personnel.
- Brewing Operations: Perform brew rinse procedures, properly reassemble piping, and manage bottle cut procedures.
- Temperature and Pressure Monitoring: Routinely monitor temperature and pressure gauges to ensure optimal brewing conditions.
- Product Quality: Brew beverages that meet all ingredient specifications, quality standards, and health requirements.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Perform CIP procedures for all tanks and piping post-production run.
- Inventory Management: Ensure finished products are routed to the appropriate filling tanks.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain current HAACP charts and required brew paperwork.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends as required.
- Corporate Responsibility: Uphold and participate in all Corporate Responsibility programming, including recycling, social advocacy, and MMAD volunteering opportunities.
- Education and Experience: Have either a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and basic mathematical functions.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 pounds; stand, kneel, and bend for an extended period of time.
