Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL Class A Delivery Driver to join our team at Performance Foodservice. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for safely transporting food and food-related products to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and colleagues to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip safety checks on tractor/truck and trailer to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Load and unload products from trailers, transport items to designated customer storage areas, and verify delivery of items with customers.
  • Collect money (cash or checks) where required and secure trailers and equipment.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area, and keep trailers clear and clean.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
  • 6+ months commercial driving experience
  • Valid CDL-A
  • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
  • Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card
