Job Title: Shuttle Driver

The Shuttle Driver is a vital member of our team at Enso Village, responsible for safely transporting residents to and from medical appointments, social outings, and other activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive various types of vehicles to transport residents, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Perform under varying weather conditions, adhering to traffic laws and defensive driving practices.
  • Assist residents in and out of vehicles, providing courteous and respectful assistance.
  • Operate wheelchair lift devices to board and deboard passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to coordinate schedules and transportation needs.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current and valid California driver's license.
  • Five years of driving experience, with a clean driving record and no accidents or moving violations in the past three years.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • Prior experience as a professional driver, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
  • Ability to reach, stoop, and bend to position and secure residents in vehicles.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
Compensation and Benefits:

Enso Village offers a competitive salary range of $22.00-$25.00 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, life insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, and a 403(b) program with a generous match.
